First jam at Ceol Mor

The first jam at the Ceol Mor last night went very well and the standard of musicians was excellent.

I was well bowled over by terry's guitar playing.

The only negative point was there wasn't enough punters this time around.Maybe there were a lot of other things on in town that evening?Anyway hopefully the next jam scheduled for the 8th August will be better attended and perhaps we might start at the later time of 8 or even 9pm.

Anyway thanks to those who did make it

Yeah that was the idea but Terry already had a band booked for next Sunday.
he said he was prepared to give it another go so all hinges on how that goes regards getting some more punters.maybe banging out some flyers might help or more viral use of facebook(im not that great on facebook).
I suspect that the musos who played all had a good time and if repeated are likely to spread the word a bit.
I personally like the venue it has potential of having 3 stages for certain events .a spot of carpet on the stage and deadening the back wall would help a lot with the accoustics as its a bit "bright and lively" just now with the wooden floor n all

yea I make ya right ..... what used to work for me was regular line up... with musos sitting in.........thats what is needed problem is it doesn't happen over night ' so the regular band has to have a full set of material ....just in case
